Crozer-Keystone Health System, a not-for-profit health system (501c3 status), was established in
1990 by the merger of Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland and Delaware County Memorial
Hospital in Drexel Hill. Today, the health system comprises five hospitals: Crozer-Chester Medical
Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Springfield Hospital in
Springfield, and Community Hospital in Chester. In addition, CKHS operates several outpatient
centers and a comprehensive physician network of primary-care and specialty practices. The
health system provides a full spectrum of wellness, prevention, acute care, rehabilitation and
restorative care to the community.

With more than 1,000 physicians and 6,250 total employees, Crozer-Keystone is the largest
employer and healthcare provider in Delaware County. In recent years, the health system has
been honored by healthcare and civic organizations for providing advancement opportunities for
women, as well as for promoting employee health through an interactive education program.
Crozer-Keystone is also a vital part of the business community, as a provider of occupational
health services and a member of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. Veteran
